Why is Hailey Bieber such a style icon? If 99% of your pins aren’t of Hailey then I don’t know what you’re doing. Maybe you’re more original than I am, but it is so hard to not have her pinned at the top of each of my inspo boards. Whether it’s makeup, skin, hair, or outfits, Hailey Bieber is one of the biggest style icons. Putting aside her personal life and her brand, Rhode, she certainly has a flair for putting together an outfit. She also happens to play around with oversized sillouetes so you know…I’m very in.
Why is Hailey Bieber the fashion icon?
Her rise to fame as a model and of course wife of Justin Bieber are things that have helped get her name out there. But there is something to be said for creating your own style, being consistent with it, and sticking to things that bring you joy. I’m not friends with Hailey (yet) but I imagine that she doesn’t wear things she doesn’t like. And she always looks comfortable.
Just look at her recent fit in Aspen. Cloaked in Feregamo fur with just a little sac from St. Laurent to get her through the evening she looked cool and comfortable, but also incredibly like Hailey. Her looks on this trip (as they all do) just feel so effortless.
Is Hailey the trendsetter or the follower?
First off, being a follower isn’t a bad thing. And I think it’s interesting to explore how trends start. In her situation I think it’s less about her always being the first, and more about her being the most popular. Minus her nails, girl does know to start a nail trend. We can immediately categorize all of her tights, tiny glasses, and trimmed silhouettes as 90s throwback. She obviously didn’t start those, but she knows how to show them off. Her makeup is always on point, which works well now especially with her Rhode skincare and makeup line, and her hair is usually at the forefront of what’s trending.
